For those wondering about breakfast!!!!!!Most store bought Hash brown packages wont have sugar added. Also most french fries wont have sugar as bad as that sounds for breakfast, it usually works with some eggs and onions. Just keep an eye out for dextrose over 2% on dietary labels, as that is a starch based glucose that can act as a sweetener. Very addicting. Avocado and hash browns is my favorite. Some times eggs and cheese, but I personally cant stand eggs alone. Also I will do a plain greek yogurt with bananas or other fruit, and honey as sweetener. Honey is sugar but in a different form. Its really up to you. Too much fruit or fructose isnt healthy for the diet though, so balance your vegetables and fruit. Also while cutting out sugar, i heard its advisable, almost permisable to eat alot of fats and proteins such as nuts, seeds, and berries. Also i like to have some olives, and i always use olive oils or avocado oil for cooking.

I have cut so much sugar out and lost 20lbs I thought I could kick the sugar cravings but I see now after a month of staying away from excess sugar I will never kick it.

Somebody needs to prepare before sudden diet change. Curry powder for rice, cinnamon/vanilla for sweets or turmeric soup and stews. There is so much out there. Youre more going against processed than sugar really.

There is tons of very little effort meals for low/no sugar but snacks can be a little harder. You can add vanilla if you wanna go pancakes. Oil, water, flour makes a good savory pancake (I went on ration challenge this year) and you can add something in if you wanna make them sweet. I warn you when you get to 4+ days (most bodies adjust by then) dont break with maple syrup. After a bit of clean eating your body will fight against something that processed. If you do break go fruit or a bite of a cookie.
There is natural sugar in lactose so much of the time so unless it separates sugar in ingredients it should be fine.
I did fine on the ration challenge as I like rice and savory food but most people suffered so bad.
Oh and technically flour water go pancake but a little oil in the mix is really good.

Na I just follow a sugar aware lifestyle now. Not having a belly comes down to genetics and caloric intake as well. 😊 The best way to go about it is to eat mostly healthy food and to keep active. Im also vegan now which is even better

i found out that so many things are quite sweet by themselves. for example carrots taste sweet, small tomatoes taste sweet, rice tastes sweet, peas are sweet, red paprika is sweet etc there is no need for additional sugar really. but it is in so many things, its hard to avoid it completely. and in special occasions its ok to eat treats. i also tried to drop added salt. that is actually more hard. i mean to eat fish without salt is very hard for me. chicken and beef is quite ok without salt. i just did it to make life bit easier for my body who has endured a lot. i can not do it probably forever, but hopefully that small break is better than nothing. i dont find foods blend actually, for example vegetables have wide variety of taste nyanses. the non green ones. and fruits ofcourse, oh lord how amazing tastes they have… it seems to me that added sugar actually kills the original taste of food.. there is basically mostly the sensation of sugar. same with salt. but without sugar other tastes get to dominate too. but i need sourness in the food too now. i eat a lot of tomatoes, oranges, ananass, apples, strawberries etc. for some reason body craves sour. ps also garlic gives good taste to meat
