    Just say NO to the Keto police. Each individual needs to find their Keto sweet spot and adjust their eating habits accordingly. Its not hard to stay under 40-50g of net carbs if you pay attention to portion size with your more carb heavy ingredients.

      keto doesnt mean no sugar, it means using ketones as fuel instead of glucose. Its a misconception to believe no fruit is allowed, because its really about keeping the ratio of fat to carbs high enough to keep one in ketosisβ€”and carb tolerance and insulin sensitivity will depend on the person. Some people can only handle 15g carbs per day to remain in ketosis, some can handle 75-100 grams per day. The only way to know is a blood ketone test.

      Theyre very low carb and youre allowed 20-50g of carbs per day (depending on your body & what you can handle, like she says). Your glycogen stores in your body empty really fast normally, like hours. So if your body has learned to use fats for energy, it will still do so even if you have a bit of carbs. And 100 g of raspberries/blackberries has 5g carb (according to dietdoctor.com)
      Its not like have 1 raspberry & bam youre out ~ πŸ™‚
